The Senior School will commence with the English National Curriculum for Years 7 to 9 (Grades 6-8 in India), leading to the two years of IGCSE in Years 10 and 11 (Grades 9-10 in India). Pupils progress to take the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 12 and 13 at WCIP, equating to Indian Grades 11-12, leaving them extremely well prepared to apply for world-class university courses and future career paths.

Years 7-9 (Indian Grades 6-8)
The curriculum for Years 7-9 is deliberately broad and enriching, acting as a vital foundation stone for pupils’ future learning. It consists of:
- A core of Maths, English and Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics)
- A carousel of Humanities (Geography and History primarily)
- A focus on Modern Languages (chosen by the pupil from French or Spanish, and possibly Mandarin)
- An emphasis upon Hindi
- Three practical/creative subjects (such as Art, Computer Science, Dance, Drama, Design Engineering & Technology, Music and PE
- Wellbeing – an essential element of the Wellington philosophy, encouraging them to reflect on their own personal, social, emotional and intellectual development
