I am tremendously excited, as the Founding Master of Wellington College in Pune (WCIP), to announce that we have officially opened in September 2023. Situated in a prime location, with excellent transportation links, we will aim to provide an innovative learning environment for a first-class educational experience for pupils aged 2-18. Our world class facilities will allow us to offer the very highest academic standards, in tandem with outstanding sporting and cultural opportunities.

Building on the superb history and traditions of Wellington College UK, our sister school, we will follow the English National Curriculum throughout all year groups in the Junior School, enhanced by elements of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), before then focusing on preparation for IGCSEs and the IBDP for our older pupils.
Our outlook will be shaped by our international perspective and our overarching objective will always pursue academic excellence throughout all year groups, with pupils ultimately achieving the superb results required for top universities around the world.
A Wellington education is, of course, entirely pupil centred, with an ethos determined by the beliefs of individual respect and tolerance, recognizing the complete uniqueness of each child. WCIP will embrace a strong community spirit, to be further enhanced by the boarding opportunities on offer in future years, with a focus on independent learning and global citizenship at the very centre of the school's philosophy. Wellington pupils will have access to invaluable and fulfilling experiences, with their own wellbeing at the core, preparing them for the twenty- first century global world in which they live.
Ultimately, the Wellington belief in the aspirational ability of all young men and women to stretch and challenge themselves is not confined to a country or even continent; we prepare our pupils to be international in outlook and to embrace all cultures.
