Education at all levels is a partnership between teachers, parents, and pupils, whereby the learning processes initiated at school are maintained and encouraged at home. A great part of education is about developing the right work values and practices, and this is where parents play a vital, if not definitive, role. Good habits at home will inevitably be translated into good habits, whether academic, social, or disciplinary, at school.
Parents are always welcome at Wellington, whether to watch sporting matches, performing arts events, or attend many of the spectacular lectures as well as contribute to their pupil's learning.
We encourage parents to be in regular contact with HMs, tutors, and teachers. Frequent reporting and updates from tutors ensure that parents can monitor their child's academic progress to their complete satisfaction.
Having such a detailed involvement of parents is our real strength. We welcome their expertise, understand the ambitions they have for their children, and take our responsibility seriously.
