Mr David Wilson’s visit to WCI Pune

During the first week of February 2024, we were honoured to host Mr David Wilson, the International Academic Director of Wellington College International (WCI). His remit includes areas such as organising global pupil exchanges across the Wellington schools, running the summer school for international pupils at Wellington College UK, peer mentoring across the family of schools and facilitating Gap Student placements in the international schools. WCI Pune has already embraced the Gap Student/Intern programme and we look forward to being involved in aspects such as the summer school from 2025.

Mr Wilson loved his visit to WCI Pune, expressing that he “has been really impressed by the activities across all three schools at Wellington College International Pune, and by the blend of cross-curricular pursuits. It’s been great to visit Pune for the first time and I very much look forward to my return visit!”

Early this week, he engaged with our students and staff, highlighting his enthusiasm for cross-cultural collaboration and our academic programmes. Mr Wilson’s insights will undoubtedly help shape our future endeavours, reinforcing our commitment to excellence, and we were delighted to host him in Pune!
